In this episode, Daniel interviews local tree service owner and certified arborist Bill Armstrong about tree care practices and the science of tree care, and how these have changed over time. Bill explains how these practices come into play in Tallahassee, a city with a lot of trees to care for.
The Guest: Bill Armstrong is a certified arborist and has been the owner of Armstrong Tree Service, a Tallahassee-based tree care company, for 30 years. He has experience with tree care, tree management, tree risk, and tree damage liability. He tries to maintain and conserve trees whenever possible, avoiding removing them unless it’s absolutely necessary.
New episodes of Tallahassee Tree Talks will drop on Wednesdays (October 16 through December 4), on Apple, Spotify, Pandora, and YouTube Music!
