Daniel Siegel

Daniel Siegel is a Master’s student at Florida State University studying English. He’s not a Florida native— he grew up in Maryland, in the suburbs of Washington, D. C., before he came to Tallahassee for college. In his academic career, he focuses on ecocriticism and environmental literature, investigating the relationships between human and ecological communities and their deep ties to specific environments and spaces. Daniel is also interested in environmental communication, public outreach, and extension. When he’s not reading (or recording tree podcasts), you can usually find him biking or playing Ultimate frisbee.
