two day old snowy plover chick- cotton ball with legs.

WFSU Public Media took home five 2019 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.  Two of those awards were for stories produced for the WFSU Ecology Blog.  Banding Snowy Plovers at Deer Lake State Park won for Excellence in Video for Small Market TV.  And Red Wolves Fight Against Extinction, a collaboration between WFSU-FM’s Lynn Hatter and WFSU Ecology Producer Rob Diaz de Villegas, won for Excellence in Video for Small Market Radio.

WFSU competed in Region 13, which includes Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico.
