Dean Pugh – Chief Operating Officer of AMWAT Moving and Warehousing. Dean overcame great odds in his youth to become a successful entrepreneur. He and his wife Gloria are very engaged in the community. They provide in-kind donations to non-profits.
Angela Hardiman founded her own consulting business, The Angela Hardiman Company, in 2012. Her business is geared towards helping small businesses and decision makers expand their network and build their services. Prior to starting her own company, Ms. Hardiman worked for over 15 years for the Leon County Chamber of Commerce. During the American Graduate Professional Lunch at Ghazvini, Ms. Hardiman stated that she felt it was important to not just talk at the students, but to listen to what they had to say.
Bryan Desloge is a Leon County Commissioner for District 4. He is also president of Desloge Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment. He was recently named as the President of the Florida Association of Counties and will serve until 2014. Commissioner Desloge is a native of Tallahassee and a graduate of Leon High School. He has four children.
Quishartis is a student at Ghazvini Learning Center. She participated in the WFSU American Graduate Leadership project at the school from January – May 2012. The program was designed to re-engage students to stay in school, set goals for success and meet academic success.
Louis Garcia is CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend. He is passionate about helping young people lead healthy and productive lives. He is active in the Tallahassee community and is always on the lookout for a creative way to recruit mentors for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
